Question 1

What areas does Magical Makeover Cleaning Services cover?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Woodbridge and clean across Springfield, Fairfax, Manassas, Alexandria, Arlington, Montclair and the rest of Prince William County — with Fairfax County and the I-95 corridor in between. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call and ask; we'd rather tell you than have you guess.

Question 2

How much does a house cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the size of the home, its condition and how often we come — a bi-weekly clean on a two-bedroom condo is priced very differently from a one-off deep clean on a five-bedroom house. What we can promise is a free estimate and a price agreed before any work starts. There's no charge for the walk-through, and no surprise add-ons once we're in the house.

Question 3

What hours are you open?

Accepted Answer

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Outside those hours we still take emergency and last-minute cleans — call (571) 572-6259 and we'll tell you straight away whether we can fit you in. Spring fills up fast — March through May is when everyone wants a deep clean at once — so call early if you're planning one for the season.

Question 4

Do you offer any discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes — 15% off your first cleaning, for new customers. That applies to a one-off deep clean, a move-out, or the first visit on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedule. Just mention it when you call.

Question 5

What's the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?

Accepted Answer

A regular clean maintains a home that's already in good order: surfaces, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming. A deep clean is a different job — we get behind and underneath what can be moved, and work on the build-up a weekly visit is never meant to touch: soap scum and hard-water scale in the shower, grout, grease on cabinet doors and range hoods, baseboards, door frames, vents, switch plates and window tracks. Most homes in this area want one once or twice a year, and it's the right first visit if a house hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while.

Question 6

Do I need to be home while you clean?

Accepted Answer

No, and most of our regular customers aren't. Plenty of people give us a key, a lockbox code or a garage code and come home to a finished house. Others prefer to be there for the first visit and then hand over access once they know us. Either way works — we just need to agree it in advance so nobody is surprised, and we handle building access and elevator bookings with management offices directly for condos and high-rises.

Question 7

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes — everything, including the vacuum. If you'd rather we used your products, because of an allergy, a pet, a stone counter or a floor finish with its own requirements, bring them out and we'll use them instead. We also carry child- and pet-safe options as standard, and for medical, dental and childcare sites we use EPA-registered disinfectants applied with the dwell time the label requires.

Question 8

Are you insured, and who actually comes to my house?

Accepted Answer

We're insured, and our crews are background-checked. You get the same cleaner or the same small crew each visit wherever we can manage it, which matters more than people expect — somebody who already knows your home cleans it better and faster than a stranger following a list. Owner Nohemy Hernandez does the estimates herself.

Question 9

Can you do a move-out clean in time for my inspection?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes — it's one of the most common jobs we do, especially in Woodbridge, Arlington and around Quantico where leases and orders turn over constantly. Tell us the inspection date when you call and we'll work back from it. A move-out clean covers the inside of appliances, cabinets and drawers, closets, baseboards, window tracks and everything else a walk-through checks, which is what the deposit usually turns on.

Question 10

Do you clean businesses as well as homes?

Accepted Answer

Yes — about half of what we do is commercial. Offices and suites, retail stores and showrooms, medical and dental practices, schools and daycares, gyms and fitness centres, and bank branches. Commercial work is scheduled after hours on a nightly, weekly or custom rotation, priced against a written scope by area and frequency, and checked by a supervisor rather than left to run on its own.
